This has been occasioned by a series of organisational problems. Firstly I have had problems with deceitful and unscrupuous behaviour on the part of Virginmedia who refused to downgrade my services in 2012. It may seem absurd that I haven't gotten around to doing anything about it but the fact is for example the software is deliberately designed to put people off and make it difficult to do anything but buy more services, unless for example you can find an odd password among roomsful of scattered Papers: the customer service people have even accused me of being an impostor who's broken into the Flat where the Landline is located. What is also since my Father's death in 2008 of uncovering motives among Relatives and Local Officials for sowing massive confusion which relate to various dangerous criminal scandals. When my modem broke down in September 19 I was so sick of Computers and the Internet I didn't do anything about it and found on 20th November that my web host HeartInternet had deleted my site because I hadn't answered emails. For want therefore of a single text or phone call I am going to have to take a week out to work on reinstating the site & have to make the specific observation, comment, request in respect of the email address associated with it, which I had thought secure and used for important business communications, has been deleted and all the emails lost. HeartInternet have thus far claimed this is irrevocable and for instance, living on a shoestring, I simply don't have the cash to offer any kind of special payment, so, with regard to anything sent to this site's address rather than my MSN account or any other email address, in the short term I am having to ask for resends. I think this irresponsible of them as I can easily imagine someone leaving out of date card details on file with a Company that only applies for a subscription once every two years. People also go away on Holiday and go to stay with relatives; they also change their phone numbers more frequently than in years gone by. In my case I had lost access to higher and further education from the earlier nineties but had a fairly good insight into evolving Infotech via one or two acquaintances who did remain involved with the Education Department. From the point where I had managed to acquire the necessary wherewithal to take my central life preoccupation of an ongoing protest campaign about my legal status, advice, and representation online in the later nineties my habits have varied enormously and as I say late in 19 I took the opportunity to give it all a lengthy break: I have also had at least close to a dozen separate phone numbers since the late nineties even maintaining a second landline until 2020. 03 12 19 Attempting to reinstate the site I find that my backups have been corrupted by either a virus or a targeted hack. This is devastating as I firstly can't afford adequate hardware or security software to maintain a good level of personal security even if I weren't guessing: which without professional assistance I basically am and as are many. I'm trying to deal with it but am as I say devastated! Password scripts appear to have been deleted which took about fifteen years of tinkering around to get functioning. The heating in my Flat has broken down and there are no washing facilities so I'm pretty much dead in the cold water. Anything of importance that is mailed to the place is almost immediately lost among piles of papers and filthy laundry and the situation is not improving. :( |
